WORKSHOP SERIES
It all started when we posted a video of slime on the Makers Mess Instagram. It was the first of many Reels promoting Mini Makers Summer Camp and we were really trying to highlight the slime element to entice those Mini Makers.
Well, apparently, it worked and enticed more than just Mini Makers!
Imagine our surprise when we received this comment:
Truly curious to see if anyone else would be interested in an adult slime workshop, we took to Instagram Stories with a poll!
We asked, "Would you take a slime making workshop?"
Can you believe?? 70% voted yes!
We ended up discussing it in a meeting and joking about how funny it would be to actually do it, which led us to talking about adult workshops with kid crafts in general, which led us to Adult Summer Camp: crafts for the young at heart... with adult libations.
We laughed and laughed and kept the bit going with more fun-sounding craft and alcohol pairings until, before we knew it, we had conceptualized a whole workshop series, and... the rest is history!
What was once a joke, is a joke no more. Adult Summer Camp is a go!
